| Ye Olde Sorority House |
We arrived around 3pm. I took Scott on a walk (more like a stumble) down memory lane. First REM show at Bullwinkles; the spot of the much-mentioned oyster-eating contest; sorority row. Oh yeah, and there's that fountain we soaped.... but didn't remember doing so until the next morning when my shampoo went missing.
There have been alot of changes around here in the last uh, what? 32 years. Thirty two years?? So there are professors here who weren't yet born when I graduated?? Sigh.
The school is HUGE and it seems every building is < 10 years old. Lots of sprawl. Quite a few empty spaces too.
We did have a great dinner at Kool Beans Cafe. The name doesn't do it justice. Let this explain a little better...

Trivia: The first european presence in this area was a camp set up south of Tallahassee in St. Marks, in 1528 by Navaro. No, not Dave Navaro, silly. Panfilo.
Today's Earworm: Me First and the Gimmes' cover of Paula Abdul's "Straight Up". Oh-oh-oh....
Goofy Car Game: Counting vehicles with those pricey rooftop carriers. There are so many that you gotta wonder if there's a market for dollies for them ;)
