Countdown to April 5th.

I am so excited I can't stand it. In three weeks, we hit the road. Or as Kelly's friend said, we will jit-jo.

We've got the big things in order: Dogsitters lined up. Work issues addressed. A general plan, 2 bikes, and the roof rack installed. Lots of gear dug out from the back of the closet. Tons of ideas for things to see and do.

Our once and future vacation home

Now we're getting the smaller things in order. Checking out the camping gear. Planning storage in the car. Making sure that the National Parks Pass actually gets into the car. Updating the photo software. Borrowing the stuff we don't have (thanks Todd, for that 12-volt cooler and camp stove). You get the idea.
